The Issue
Based on the survey, there is the decline of ancestral culture within the second generation. The term "second generation" is used to define the people who are born in the United States from an immigrant family, or it can refer to the young immigrants who obtain the American culture. Those young people tend to refuse their ancestral identity at the very young, but start to learning their parents' culture and history as they are getting older. By observing a few cases, I saw that the use of difference languages had become the boundary between the elders and the youths.
